Hello, my name is Bryan Proteau. I am originally from the Bay Area of California, and have spent the last 8 years tattooing in San Francisco and Oakland. I have a background in illustration, primarily album art and merch design for various underground bands from the US and Europe. Some of my favorite subjects and influences include: medieval art, illuminated manuscripts, Renaissance and Neoclassical art, scientific illustration, botany, magic and the occult, fantasy, fairytales and folklore. I specialize in fine line black & grey tattooing, however I am open to a variety of styles and colors. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to working with you!

Most of my tattoos are charged by the piece. For multi session work I am $150/hr. Please include your budget when contacting me.
